Our Story
SeaNergy is owned and operated by San Diego local, Ethan Barr. Ethan has spent a lifetime on the water, learning to sail when he was 10-years old. After a career in the Navy as a Chief Engineer, Ethan continued as a Chief Engineer in the mega-yacht industry.
He earned his first Captain's license 22-years ago, quickly rising to a Commercial Captain in the mega-yacht industry. Having owned his own yacht services company abroad, he felt it only natural to start another in 2015 in Florida.
Now, Ethan divides his time between commercial and personal yacht delivery and providing superior marine repairs and upgrade solutions for boats of all sizes in San Diego.

While we originally started our yacht service on the East Coast; in 2018 we expanded and accommodated projects in the Gulf of Mexico at our nation's southern states. Our projects took us to almost every part of the country and often abroad. We are proudly operating out of our new base in San Diego, California.

He earned his first Captain's license when he was only 16. and proceeded quickly to a Commercial Captain in the mega-yacht industry. Having owned his own yacht services company abroad, he felt it only natural to start another in 2015 in Florida.
